Tempe Mill Avenue Treadway
Vision:
The vision for this area is to divert busy automobile traffic away from Mill Avenue and transform the streets into a pedestrian plazas with bustling shops and vibrant nightlife. This new development is designed in with visitors of all ages in mind, and includes fountains, park pathways, bike routes, added shade, and new vegetation that keeps guests entertained throughout the day and night.
Goals
1) Decrease automobile traffic along Mill Avenue.
2) Promote pedestrian use along new pathways.
3) Improve sensory interaction between visitors and site.
4) Transform roadways into easily traversable terrace.
